RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot Level 1/2/3 network issues of enterprise customers (US/CAN regions).
  • Achieve all the defined metrics & SLA.
  • Effective engagement with customers (written & verbal) & ensure Customer Satisfaction.
  • Proactive involvement of Technical Leads / Management in resolving critical issues.
  • Writing Tech documents covering best practices & Troubleshoot approaches for a product/issue.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • OSI layers detailed understanding of each layer’s function and relevant protocols that operate at each level.
  • Knowledge of common LAN, WAN, and Datacenter architectures.
  • Knowledge of services like DHCP, NTP, ARP, NAT, SNMP, and ACL.
  • Basic understanding of Data center products like UCSM, VIC cards, FI, IOM, UCSB and UCSC-series servers.
  • Basic understanding of switching, VLAN, STP, ether-channel, Port-channel, and packet flow.
